БЫТЬ works the same way as will in English, to form the future tense. WHEN YOU USE VERB БЫТЬ , THE NEXT VERB IS GOING TO BE IN INFINITIVE FORM. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE, BETWEEN WILL AND БЫТЬ (IN CASES WHEN WE USE IT FOR FUTURE TENSE)
THAT WE TREAT VERB БЫТЬ AS AN ORDINARY VERB,
IT MEANS THAT THE FORM YOU ARE GOING
TO CHOOSE  DEPENDS ON A SUBJECT.

WE USE ‘ ТЫ ’  WHEN WE  ARE ADDRESSING ONE PERSON WITH WHOM WE ARE FAMILIAR, ‘ ВЫ ’ WE USE  FOR FORMAL GREETING AND IN THE PLURAL.
